Liebster Award - THANK YOU

Hey everyone,

So as you can see, I've been nominated for the LIEBSTER AWARD first, by the lovely Little Miss Wallflower . She is a new blogger but posts quality posts so you should definitely go check out her blog.

*SPECIAL MENTION* to www.ourdreamsoffashion.com because she also nominated me for the award and her blog is definitely worth checking out.

First I'll answer the questions I was given:

1. What was your favourite post to write and was one of your most popular ones?
My favourite post to write has to got to be THIS one, I feel like I'm really part of this blogging community.
My most popular post was my NAKED BASICS post where I basically raved about it for an entire post.

2. Apart from blogging, what are your hobbies?
I like to dance, play the piano, draw, read...

3. Would you want to be a Blogger for a living?
Maybe, but I think I want a proper job as well, like I've wanted to be a doctor or something like that...

4. McDonalds or Starbucks?
McDonalds! YOU GET TOYS :)

5. Who are your favourite musicians and why?
Jake Bugg has the writes the best songs, the best style... just amazing

6. Describe yourself in 1 word.
CURIOUS?!!!

7. What's your favourite Disney Film and any reason why??
Lady and the Tramp- because it's SO cute and I used to watch it ALL the time when I was younger.

8. Do you read a lot? What are your favourite book(s) if so?
I only like to read books that I am ACTUALLY interested in, so, SHERLOCK HOLMES by Arthur Conan Doyle.

9. If your house caught on fire, what 4 items would you save?
-myself-(vain? but i probably would) - one photo album with everyone- purse containing bank details etc...-phone ( i know,, typical teenager)

10. If you weren't human, what animal would you be?
I know people would probably be like "Birds- because they can fly- and then I'll feel free and alive and I'll be able to finally be happy"---and all that but: birds get shot...and its horrible but its true...so I think I'd like to be a sloth- aha why not.

11. Where would you rather be; seaside, mountains or countryside?
Seaside- near the sea, sandy beaches, nice weather, ice cream/chips, what's not to like?
I nominate:

Questions from ME to YOU:

1. What is your favourite colour?

2. What is the meaning behind your blog name?
2. When did you start your blog ad why?
3. Do you watch youtube videos and would you ever make a youtube channel?
4. Boots or Superdrug?
5. Do you think high-end makeup is worth the money?
6. Heels or wedges?

Lost and Found NO.2 ~found cream cleanser

Welcome to another LOST AND FOUND post where I basically talk about products that I'm looking for and good ones that I've found.

Last time I was looking for a cleansing balm- bad news is I still haven't found a great one.

I have, however, found a great cream cleanser.

This is the Murad Refreshing Cleanser £29.00.

I say this is a cream cleanser but this is basically a gel cleanser that turns into a creamy consistency when you apply it to a damp face.

It removes makeup easily except it can sting the eyes so I recommend taking off eye makeup with a  cotton pad first. Even if I'm not wearing makeup, I'll use this and it doesn't strip my skin leaving it tight and dry, it refreshes my skin while nourishing at the same time.

I would recommend this for all skin types because it's so gentle but so effective at the same time.

I know that Murad have a whole step by step range , so is there anything else I should try?

Lots of Love,
SOphie

Grease Lightning

A whole post dedicated to ONE product? Yes... Partly because I've did a post just yesterday, but because GREASE LIGHTNING is so amazing.

GREASE LIGHTNING lush spot treatment £6.25

Summer months are coming...which means the weather is getting hotter, oilier skin and more breakouts :| oh dear me... i've resorted to old school key board faces...

anyway, this is great for preventing spots, helping existing breakouts heal up faster
+it's from lush so it has all natural ingredients that don't harm your skin
+it contains witch hazel which is great for calming redness
+it contains tea tree extract which is an antibacterial
+you can put it on as much as you like but does        tend to make makeup sit unevenly

I would definitely recommend this for anyone who has problems with breakouts in summer

Current Non-Beauty Faves

How's everyone's summer? We've been having such great weather here in England, I just hope it lasts.

Since I do beauty favourites every month, I thought I'd quickly write a NON-BEAUTY favourites post. I don't know how interesting people will find this but sometimes I just feel a little bit nosy and feel the need to see what other people like...if this is you, stay tuned...

The first thing has DEFINITELY been my obsession this month. SHERLOCK the TV remake starring BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH. *dies* I found it on my Sky On Demand TV box set and I watched the first two series. I then became so obsessed that I watched the third on iTunes, and now, well now I'm reading the book. Sherlock is basically based on Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes but I think the producers are just GENIUS. I think it's full of mystery, drama, hilarious and amazingly written. It's ADDICTIVE- so I suggest you get started NOW.

I also went to watch The Fault in Our Stars. I loved the book when I read it a while ago and I had a post here. But then I saw the film and fell in love with the actors and the setting and the story again. If you want to know more about it, check my other post. :)

My next favourite is actually a HUMAN and it's +essiebutton and she's a YOUTUBER. I've been watching her beauty videos for ages but then I started watching her Vidcon vlogs and now she's like my favourite youtuber. She's so funny and nice and makes great videos and is so pretty and good at doing makeup. Literally, you HAVE to go watch her videos.

And every month I make a new playlist of songs and this month I've had mega summery songs on this is my playlist:

Well I hope this was entertaining :) if not- a summer makeup look is coming up tomorrow morning - stay tuned

Lots of Love,
Sophie
